Accessibility

Since the recent renovations at Denny Cross, we are now fully accessible for wheelchairs. We have electronic doors and a fully functioning disabled bathroom. If you require any assistance when you are in the surgery, please don’t hesitate to speak to a member of staff.

Baby Friendly

We support breastfeeding within the practice. You are welcome to do this during your consultation if your baby is distressed you will also be offered a private room if you require this before or after your appointment.

Chaperones

Denny Cross operates a NHS Forth Valley chaperone policy, you should be offered a chaperone for any intimate examination, please do not hesitate to ask for one at any time if required.

Quality Assurance

We run regular audits at the practice in order to make sure that we are maintaining a good medical practice. Being a training practice, we are regularly inspected by NES (NHS Education for Scotland).

Removal of Patients from our list

We do not remove patients from our list unless there has been a serious event. This would usually involve something similar to physical violence to staff, a threat or abusive behaviour, criminal damage to the surgery or theft and defamation of doctors and/or staff. We will not allow any of our staff to feel threatened while they are at their work.ย ย

Social Media

If patients have any concerns regarding the practice, we would encourage you to contact us directly either via one of the partners or the practice manager. It is not helpful to post derogatory, defamatory or offensive comments on social media.
